Dear Students and Parents,
Welcome to our Religious
Education program! We pray that you and your family will be enriched
by this program and strengthened by your Parish Community here at St. Paul of
the Cross!
We offer “Story Keepers” for children up to age 5 during the 9:00 AM Sunday Mass. The first through the seventh grade, including our sacramental prep class, will meet from 10:15 AM-11:45 AM on Sunday mornings. Attendance at any weekend Mass is expected as a necessary part of religious formation; we do encourage families to attend the 9:00 AM Mass, which includes Children’s Liturgy of the Word.
There is also a Sunday evening middle school
program for 6th and 7th grade students combined.
This program will start at 6:15 PM and end at 7:50
PM.
We encourage students who participate in this program to
attend the 5 PM Mass just prior to class, however attendance at any Mass is
expected.
For more information about any classes, please call the
office.
Attendance is very important to our program; for that reason if your child cannot attend class please let us know either by email (joannereled@bellsouth.net) or by calling the parish office (626-1873). We continue to ask that you escort your youngest children to their classrooms and that all students are picked up promptly, by a parent or other designated person, from their classrooms after class.
